Route Planning That Suggests a Smarter Stop Order

Plan each day around where your customers actually are. Ask PestPro CRM's assistant to build a route from your active customers and it suggests an efficient stop order you can review and apply — so you group nearby jobs instead of crisscrossing town.

How Route Planning Works

It starts with location. When you save a customer's address, PestPro CRM geocodes it to map coordinates automatically — there is no separate import or setup step. Every customer with an address is ready to route.

When you want to plan a day, ask the built-in assistant to build a route — for example, "build a route for my Marietta customers." It pulls your active customers (optionally narrowed by city, customer, or technician), works out an efficient order to visit them, and shows you the proposed route as a card with the stops numbered in sequence.

You stay in control. Review the proposed order and tap Confirm to apply it — PestPro CRM saves the stop order and route assignment, and can email you the route sheet. Nothing changes until you confirm.

What It Does — and What It Doesn't

PestPro CRM suggests an efficient stop order based on the straight-line distance between your stops, grouping nearby customers so you backtrack less over the course of a day. For most one-to-five-truck operations, a sensible stop order is the part that actually saves you running back and forth.

To be clear about what it is not: it is not a drive-time or traffic-aware engine, and it does not replace your GPS. When you are ready to drive, tap a stop to hand off to your maps app for turn-by-turn directions. There is no live vehicle tracking, and it is built for planning a day's stops — up to about 40 per route — not enterprise fleet dispatch.

That honesty is the point: you get a quick, sensible order for the day without paying for a heavyweight routing platform you do not need.

Route Every Technician

On a team, build a separate route for each technician and assign it. Each tech sees their own ordered stops for the day, while office staff plan from the full customer list. Route planning works for each technician individually, suggesting an efficient stop order for their daily route.

Tighter sequencing means less backtracking between stops, more jobs completed, and less fuel burned.
