Honest take: there is no single best pest control CRM. The right one depends on your size, your budget, and what you actually need.
This guide covers the 11 platforms operators actually evaluate — from solo-friendly free tiers to enterprise platforms with custom quotes. PestPro is one of them. We make PestPro, and we will say where it fits and where it does not. If you are a 100-tech operation running multi-branch consolidated accounting, PestPro is not the right answer; ServiceTitan or FieldRoutes is. The comparisons here are written for the operator, not for our marketing funnel.
If you are short on time, here is the recommendation by business shape:
| If you are… | Best fit | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Solo operator or 2–10 person team on a budget | PestPro CRM | Free up to 15 customers, $47/mo unlimited |
| Multi-vertical field service (pest + HVAC + landscaping) | Jobber | Generic but well-built |
| 50+ technicians, multi-branch pest control | FieldRoutes | Enterprise pest-specific |
| 100+ tech home services company (multi-trade) | ServiceTitan | Enterprise, premium price |
| Solo to small pest control, willing to pay for mature product | GorillaDesk | Solid mid-tier option |
| Small home services (pest, cleaning, lawn) in one tool | Housecall Pro | Multi-vertical, mobile |
| Mid-size pest control, established workflows | Briostack | Pest-focused mid-market |
| Canadian operator wanting local product | PestBoss | Canada-only focus |
| Enterprise with significant fleet management need | WorkWave | GPS / fleet-heavy |
| Established mid-large pest control on a legacy platform | ServSuite (Xplor) | Deep but dated |
| Mid-to-large pest control with WorkWave portfolio fit | PestPac | Pest-specific, mid-large |
Best for: Solo operators and small teams. Pricing: Free / $47 per month.
We make PestPro, so take the framing accordingly — but the position is honest: PestPro is built for solo operators and small teams with a dispatcher (up to about 10 technicians). Free for the first 15 customers with no credit card. $47/month flat for unlimited after that. Pest-specific features are included on every tier: target pest tracking, chemical and application logging with EPA / APVMA / PCPA registration capture, recurring service plans, SMS reminders, Stripe payment links, route optimization, and reporting.
Where PestPro is not the right answer: 50+ technician operations, multi-branch consolidated accounting, complex enterprise commission structures, or established teams locked into legacy integrations. For those, FieldRoutes, PestPac, or ServSuite fits better.
Best for: Small-to-mid field service across multiple verticals. Pricing: $49–$149/month.
Jobber is one of the strongest general field service CRMs. It serves plumbers, electricians, landscapers, cleaners, HVAC techs, and pest control operators alike. The product is well-designed, the mobile app is solid, and pricing is published and reasonable for the value.
The honest tradeoff: Jobber is designed to be everything to everyone, which means it is designed specifically for nobody. Pest-control-specific workflows — target pest tracking, chemical logging, EPA reg numbers — are not first-class data; you fit them into custom fields. For a multi-vertical company where pest is one of several services, Jobber is excellent. For a pest-control-only business, a pest-specific tool gives you more out of the box.

Best for: Enterprise pest control operations. Pricing: Custom quote, typically $200–500+/month.
FieldRoutes (the platform formerly known as PestRoutes, now part of the ServiceTitan family) is one of the most established enterprise pest control CRMs. Strong route optimization, deep automated marketing, and reporting built for multi-branch operations. Used by large operators with dedicated office staff and IT budgets.
The honest tradeoff: enterprise pricing and enterprise onboarding. Custom quotes, typically annual contracts, and implementation timelines measured in weeks. For a 50+ technician operation this is the cost of doing business at scale and the product earns it. For a solo operator or small team, FieldRoutes is genuine overkill — you pay for and learn features you do not use.

Best for: Large multi-trade home service companies. Pricing: $200+/month, custom quotes.
ServiceTitan is the dominant enterprise platform across home services — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and pest control. It is mature, deep, and well-funded. If you run a 100+ tech operation across multiple trades and need consolidated reporting, marketing automation, and call-tracking, this is the heavyweight choice.
The honest tradeoff: pricing and complexity. ServiceTitan implementations are months long and monthly costs scale fast. The product is generic across trades — pest-specific features like target pest tracking and chemical use logging are workable through customization but not native. For a pest-control-only company under 30 technicians, ServiceTitan is overbuilt.

Best for: Solo-to-small pest control operators. Pricing: $49–$99/month.
GorillaDesk is the most direct head-to-head with PestPro for solo and small-team pest control operators. Mature product, established market presence, published pricing in a similar mid-range band. Pest-specific features are reasonably represented; the mobile app is solid.
The honest tradeoff: no free tier, and pricing starts higher than PestPro. For an operator already using GorillaDesk with established workflows, switching is a real decision — both products handle the daily-driver work well. For a new operator choosing between the two, PestPro's free tier and lower paid pricing make it the cheaper experiment.

Best for: Small multi-vertical home service businesses. Pricing: $65–$169/month.
Housecall Pro is a strong general field-service platform with broad home-service coverage — cleaning, plumbing, HVAC, handyman, pest control. Mobile-first, well-designed, with integrated payments and marketing tools. Comparable category to Jobber.
The honest tradeoff: same shape as Jobber. Multi-vertical breadth means pest-control specifics are not first-class. If you run multiple home-service lines, Housecall Pro's integrated marketing and consumer-facing booking is attractive. If pest is your only business, the breadth is overhead and the pest-specific features you need are not native.

Best for: Mid-size pest control companies. Pricing: Custom quote.
Briostack is a pest-control-specific platform targeting mid-sized operators — typically 10–50 technicians. Solid feature set with pest-specific workflows, route optimization, and reporting. Less enterprise than FieldRoutes / PestPac, more capable than solo-tier products.
The honest tradeoff: pricing is via quote, with no free tier. Onboarding is typically vendor-led over a few weeks. For an established mid-size operation Briostack fits cleanly. For a solo operator or small team, the price and onboarding overhead do not pay off.

Best for: Canadian pest control operators. Pricing: Mid-range.
PestBoss is a Canadian-built pest control CRM. The strength is local focus — Canadian operators get a product made for their market with Canadian support relationships. Reasonable feature coverage across scheduling, customer management, and chemical tracking.
The honest tradeoff: Canada-only. If you serve only Canadian customers and want a Canada-specific product, that focus is a feature. If you serve cross-border (Canada + US) or plan to expand, PestBoss does not cover the US side. PestPro covers both markets in one tool.

Best for: Enterprise fleet + field service. Pricing: Custom quote.
WorkWave is a corporate portfolio of field service products covering HVAC, plumbing, lawn care, and pest control. Strong fleet management and GPS tracking — that is the differentiator. Used by larger operations where vehicle visibility materially changes the day.
The honest tradeoff: not pest-control-specific. The pest workflows are workflows-for-everyone with pest-flavored fields. If you do not need GPS / fleet management, the overhead and cost do not translate to value. For a pest-control-only small operator, this is the wrong shape of tool.

Best for: Legacy enterprise pest control. Pricing: Custom quote, contract-based.
ServSuite (originally by ServicePro, now under Xplor) is a long-established enterprise pest control platform. Deep feature set built over decades — strong compliance reporting, complex commission and accounting handling, multi-branch support. Used by established mid-to-large operators with years of muscle memory on the platform.
The honest tradeoff: dated UI rooted in the desktop era, vendor-led implementations, and contract pricing. For an operator already on ServSuite with deep workflow investment, switching is a major decision. For a new operator choosing a platform fresh in 2026, the legacy weight is not worth picking up.

Best for: Mid-to-large pest control companies. Pricing: Custom quote.
PestPac, part of the WorkWave portfolio, is one of the most-installed pest-control-specific enterprise platforms in the US. Built for multi-branch operations with complex accounting, commission structures, and consolidated reporting. Pest-specific from the ground up.
The honest tradeoff: enterprise pricing, enterprise onboarding, and a feature surface area sized for operations with dedicated office staff. For a 30+ technician multi-branch operation it earns its keep. For a solo operator or a small team without dispatch staff, the same features are overhead that does not translate to value.

PestPro is built for the operator who has 0 to ~10 technicians and is running their day from a phone. Solo operators starting out. Small teams with an owner who is also the dispatcher (or a spouse / office person in that role). The growth stage from $0 in revenue to $500k-ish where the right CRM saves hours a week without costing 5% of revenue. That is the design point.
PestPro is not built for: 50+ technician multi-branch operations, complex enterprise commission structures, deep ERP-style accounting integrations, dedicated marketing automation suites, or companies running multiple field-service verticals where pest is only one slice. For those, the right answer is on the enterprise side of this list — FieldRoutes, PestPac, ServSuite, or ServiceTitan depending on the specific mix.
The free tier is the most important thing PestPro offers a new operator: 15 customers, no credit card, no time limit. The cost of starting is zero, and if PestPro is not right for your business you have lost nothing trying it. That is unique in this list — every other CRM here requires a paid commitment (or a 14-day trial) before you can find out if it fits.
If you are in the solo-to-small range PestPro is built for, sign up and try it on your real customers. Free for your first 15. $47/month if you outgrow it.
