How to Use PestPro CRM From Your Phone: Running Your Day From the Truck

PestPro CRM is built to work in the field, not just at a desk. Here is how to use it from your phone so you can manage your entire day — schedule, jobs, invoices, and customer notes — without ever going back to a computer.

Most pest control work happens in the field. Your CRM should work there too. PestPro is fully functional from a mobile browser, which means you can run your entire operation from your phone between stops.

Here is how to use it effectively.

Access PestPro from your phone

Open your phone's browser and navigate to your PestPro CRM URL. Log in as usual. The interface is mobile-responsive, meaning it adjusts to your screen size so you can read, tap, and navigate without pinching and zooming.

Bookmark or save the URL to your home screen for one-tap access every morning.

What you can do from your phone

Everything you can do on desktop is available on mobile:

  • View your schedule and today's jobs.
  • Open customer records and read service notes.
  • Add notes or update job status in real time.
  • Mark jobs complete.
  • Generate and send invoices on the spot.
  • Log payments.
  • Create new customers if you pick up a new job in the field.
  • Check the weather bar for current conditions.

Your morning routine from the truck

Before your first stop:

  1. Open PestPro and check your schedule for the day.
  2. Review any customer notes for your first 2–3 stops — gate codes, access instructions, prep status.
  3. Check the weather bar to see if any outdoor jobs need to be reshuffled.
  4. Confirm that automated reminders went out overnight for today's customers.

At each job

When you arrive:

  • Open the job record and review service notes from previous visits.
  • Add a note about what you observed before you start (pest activity, conditions, entry points).

When you finish:

  • Add completion notes: products used, areas treated, anything unusual.
  • Mark the job Complete.
  • Generate and send the invoice before you back out of the driveway.
  • If the customer is home and pays on the spot, log the payment.

Adding a new customer from the field

If someone flags you down or you get a call between stops:

  1. Open PestPro and add a new customer.
  2. Enter their name, address, and phone number.
  3. Create a job and schedule it.
  4. Send them a confirmation text right from the job record.

The whole thing takes about two minutes.

End-of-day wrap-up from the truck

Before you pull into your driveway:

  • Check for any jobs marked complete without invoices sent and send them.
  • Check for any outstanding payments from today and follow up if needed.
  • Review tomorrow's schedule so you are not surprised in the morning.

Pro tip: Keep your phone charged on route

A dead phone means a dead CRM. Keep a charger in the truck. The ability to work from your phone is only valuable if the phone is actually on.
